Laurie Ann Levin, Psy.D.

Founder & CEO
Dr. Laurie Ann Levin's vision for Moonview grew out of her practice mixing traditional psychoanalytic theories with a newer understanding of intuition. Her work has been anchored by a belief in 'soul communion', the expression of one's highest sense of self connected to all other souls, past and present.
Dr. Levin had an earlier career of 25 years in the entertainment business. She lectures on the psychology of creativity and developed a specialty for dealing with the psychological trajectory of personal identity exacerbated by shifting adulation and rejection.
Her other specialties include psycho-oncology, post-traumatic stress, and the psychology of gay, lesbian and sexual identity issues.



Terry V. Eagan, M.D.      

Medical Director
Dr. Terry Eagan has been in private practice specializing in anxiety and depressive disorders for the last 16 years. He has extensive experience in working with complex patients at the extremes of celebrity, and is a highly respected lecturer, educator and healer. Dr. Eagan is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners. Since 1993, he has served as Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Psychiatry and The Behavioral Sciences at the University of Southern California School of Medicine.

Stephen I. Sideroff, Ph.D.

Clinical Director


Dr. Stephen Sideroff is an internationally recognized expert in optimal performance, substance abuse, neurofeedback and approaches to stress and mental health.  In addition to being the Clinical Director of Moonview Sanctuary, he is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry & Biobehavioral Sciences at UCLA’s School of Medicine.  He is also the Director of the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Ethics.  Dr. Sideroff has presented training programs around the world.  He has helped to establish innovative treatment in China, and Europe.  Dr. Sideroff was involved in the founding of the Gestalt Therapy clinic in Los Angeles, and was the founder and Clinical Director of Stress Strategies, a hospital based program addressing stress, and psychosomatic conditions at UCLA/Santa Monica hospital.  Dr. Sideroff has conducted cutting edge research in brain and behavior at UC Irvine, McGill University in Montreal, and UCLA, including ground breaking research using Neurofeedback in the treatment of substance abuse. 
A former college handball champion, Dr. Sideroff specializes in the strategies of peak performance in sports and in all areas of performance.  He has worked with a number of elite athletes, and teams including the UCLA men's basketball team, the Pepperdine men's basketball team, the UCLA women's golf team, the US Men's National soccer team, and the Nike women's beach volleyball team.  He has translated his experience with athletes into innovative performance strategies with executives and others.
Dr. Sideroff and the Moonview team are currently conducting a series of seminars on Resilient Living in conjunction with the Wellness Center & Spa at Hotel Casa Del Mar.

Gaetano Vaccaro  Ph.D.

Director of Development & Deputy Clinical Director

Gaetano Vaccaro, PhD, is Director of Program Development and Deputy Clinical Director at Moonview Sanctuary, a psychological treatment center in Santa Monica, California. Dr. Vaccaro received his doctorate at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Jungian Depth Psychology. He was formerly the Manager of Clinical and Behavioral Research at the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center, and for eleven years he specialized in HIV/AIDS treatment and education, as well as treatment for sexual compulsivity, addictive behaviors, and mood disorders.
Dr. Vaccaro is a nationally recognized lecturer on addiction recovery, human development and personal growth. He is also a specialist in Institutional & Organizational Psychology and organizational change management.
